Access Perry County Board Meeting
Tell City Public Library
January 18, 2001, 7:00 p.m.

The meeting was called to order by President Francie Wagner. Board members present were: Francie Wagner, Judy Howe, Joan Goble, and Kathy Pohl. A motion was made by Kathy Pohl, seconded by Joan Goble, to adopt the agenda and approve the minutes of the November meeting. Motion carried.

Before leaving on vacation, Sandy Henning submitted the following treasurer's report: disbursements of $59.40 to the Perry County News, $189.00 for Chamber Calendar ads, $300.00 to PSCI for December and January, $2,500.00 to Old National Bank for a second CD. Receipts included $400.00 for November and December from the Perry County News. Interest of $80.81 was received on the first Old National CD. Our checking account balance is now $1,402.51; investments, $7,580.81; total balance of $8,983.32.

Francie Wagner reported that a new contract with PSCI has been signed. Our account will be credited in the amount of $1,440.00

We discussed using winter scenes of Perry County on our website. It was decided to invite the public to submit winter landscape scnes in photo or jpeg format to us for a photo contest. We will possibly offer a free month of Internet service to the winner. Deadline will be February 9. We will prepare a news release. Joan Goble offered to provide some winter photos to use on the site before entries are received.
