March 15, 2001, 7:00 p.m.

The meeting was called to order by President Francie Wagner. Board members present were: Francie Wagner, Judy Howe, Joan Goble, Sandy Henning, Kathy Pohl, Betty Cash. A motion was made by Kathy Pohl, seconded by Betty Cash, to approve the minutes of the January meeting and to adopt tonight's agenda. Motion carried.

Treasurer Sandy Henning reported a beginning balance of $9,050.91. Disbursements included $59.50 to the Perry County News; $189.00 for Chamber calendar ads; $300.00 automatic pay to PSCI for December/January, of which $150.00 for January was not deducted; $2,500.00 to Old National for a 9-month Easy CD. Receipts included $400.00 from the Perry County News for November and December; $80.81 from Old National CD interest. Our balance, including CDs, on March 15, 2001 is $9,133.32. Our automatic payment to PSCI has been stopped due to our credit balance. Since we have not yet received a bill, we will contact Network Solutions about our fee which is soon due. Our post office box rent will also be due in May.

Several members volunteered to take pictures at the Dogwood Festival and email them to Mary Sampson at PSCI as jpegs to be posted on our web site. Since our winter photo contest was successful, we decided to set up a spring photo contest between April 9 and May 9, limited to Perry County spring photos.

Kathy Pohl reported that she has been taking photos at the Ohio Valley Animal Shelter to promote adoption of pets in the community. Sandy Henning made a motion that we would put a link to these photos on our web site as a community service project. Judy Howe seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Due to a schedule conflict on Thursday, May 17, our next meeting date, it was agreed to change our meeting to Thursday, May 24. Meeting was adjourned.
