MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF
ACCESS PERRY COUNTY

Access Perry County Board Meeting
Tell City Public Library
June 15, 2000 7:00 pm

The meeting was called to order by President Francie Wagner.  Members present:  Francie Wagner, Judy Howe, Betty Cash, Kathy Pohl, Sandy Henning, and Joan Goble.  Joan Goble shared photos of the Cannelton Elementary School group's trip to England.

A motion was made by Kathy Pohl, seconded by Betty Cash, to adopt the agenda and approve the minutes of the May meeting.  Motion carried.  Our May bank balance was $8,939.89.  Disbursements include the automatic payment for June to PSCI of $150.00, post office box rental of $44.00, and payment of $66.20 to JVC Accessories for a battery and manual for our camera.  Deposits include the $200.00 June check from the Perry County News.  Our June balance is $8,879.69.

We have been offered a service agreement on our laptop for next business day, on-site service for 2 years at a cost of $80.00.  It was decided that this coverage was not needed.  At the meeting of the Chamber and APC Committee on June 8, it was decided that the Chamber will have its own website, trying not to duplicate information on our site.  They will link to our site and we will give them access to the mall portion of our site so that they can make updates.  We then discussed changing the frequency of our meetings and decided to make an annual calendar and meet bi-monthly. Months for meetings will be:  January, March, May, July, September, and November.  Since our by-laws require monthly meetings, Joan Goble made a motion to amend the by-laws to state that meetings will be bi-monthly; Judy Howe seconded.  Motion carried.

Board members appointed by Cannelton Schools, Perry County business, and Perry County government are expiring.  Letters will be sent asking for appointments.  We will obtain pictures of Businesses and Teachers of the Year from the Perry County News to post on our website.

Meeting was adjourned.  Next meeting:  July 20, 2000, 7:00 p.m., at Tell City Public Library.
