October minutes.  Motion was seconded by Randy Fischer; motion carried.

Steve Bennett, new member appointed by Cannelton government, has not yet been contacted.  Randy Fischer volunteered to contact him before the next meeting.  Terms of our new contract with PSCI from November 1, 1999 to October 31, 2000, were discussed with Colleen Smith, PSCI representative. The monthly retainer will be reduced from $200 to $150 per month, to
more accurately reflect the actual number of hours used.  For this fee, we will continue to receive 1 free Web Package B ($44.95 per month), 1 free Dial-Up Account ($19.95 per month), and we will continue to split 50/50 on marketing (billboards, etc.)  A new billboard company will be selected; Colleen will contact us.

A banner for "A Taste of Perry County", the Chamber Auction on December 9, will be put on our website to replace Witches Walk.  The same frames may be used for pictures of auction items.

Our October checking account balance was $400.00. After depositing our Cannelton Library account balance of $10, 763.03, our November balance is $11,038.03.  Past bills from the Chamber were paid in the amount of $125.00.  Outstanding claims include $197.50 to PSCI for the last 1/2 billboard cost.  Kathy Pohl made a motion to pay this claim.  Randy Fischer seconded; motion carried.  There was no PSCI monthly bill due to an annual adjustment of $600.00.  October and November checks, totaling $400.00, have been received from the Perry County News and will be deposited.

Sandy Henning volunteered to pick up mail daily from our post office box. She will be given a duplicate key.  John Spencer has returned to the board and volunteered to put our accounting on computer using Quicken. Francie Wagner reported heavy usage of our website in October.  Friday, October 29, following Witches Walk, was the most active day ever, with 61,000 hits. E-mailing of auction bids to Chamber was discussed and will be decided at Chamber's board meeting.  Members agreed to ask Dick Haywood to bring the webcam to our meeting to train all members to use it.

Meeting was adjourned.  Next meeting:  December 16, 1999, 7:00 pm, at Tell City Public Library.
