December 16, 1999, 7:00 pmThe meeting was called to order by President Francie Wagner. Members present were: Francie Wagner, Joan Goble, Kathy Pohl, Betty Cash, Sandy Henning, Dick Haywood, Judy Howe, and John Spencer. A motion was made by Kathy Pohl, seconded by Joan Goble, to adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Betty Cash, seconded by Kathy Pohl, to approve the minutes of the November meeting. Motion carried.
Our checking account balance for November was $11,240.53. November claims include PSCI monthly billing adjustment of $150.00 and the camera reimbursement, for which we still have no invoice. A motion was made by Sandy Henning, seconded by Joan Goble, to pay these claims. Motion carried.
The December balance will be $11,090.53. The December payment from the Perry County News has not yet been received.
Our Chamber auction item, a framed lacy doily, received a $55.00 bid. The front page of our website for December and January was discussed. Suggestions included Christmas parade pictures, autumn scenes, dedication of the Schergens Center, a banner for "Bright Lights" with parade pictures and a list of winners; a time capsule banner, listing items from each school, was suggested for January.
A "Millennium Map" of Perry County will be published by Village Profile in the spring of 2000. A motion was made by Kathy Pohl, seconded by Joan Goble, to purchase a business card size ad with our address and logo for $345.00. Motion carried.
