Access Perry County Board Meeting
February 18, 1999 7:00 PM
Tell City Junior High

The meeting was called to order by President Francie Wagner.  Members present were:   Francie Wagner, Joan Goble, Mary Ann Wheatley, Kathy Gerber, Sandy Henning, and Judy Howe.  The agenda was adopted and minutes of the January meeting were approved.   Motion was made by Kathy Gerber, seconded by Joan Goble; motion carried.   Treasurer's report:  January balance of $15,005.17; bills submitted in January have not yet been paid.  Claims for February include 2 months' charges from PSCI, $405.00.  Sandy Henning made a motion to pay these charges, Joan Goble seconded; motion carried.

The price for the web cam "splash" on the July billboard would be $5.00 per square foot, plus $25.00 for installation.  Total cost for a 1-x-7-inch area would be $60.00.  A motion was made by Kathy Gerber, seconded byn Sandy Henning, to approve this expenditure; motion carried.  Perry County Showcase will be held April 10 and 11.  Booth cost is $100.00.  We will contact PSCI about sharing a booth and downloading our web site.  The annual $50.00 fee for domain name registration with Internic was discussed. PSCI has been paying our fee.  A motion was made by Mary Ann Wheatley, seconded by Joan Goble, to sign an agreement to renew our domain name; motion carried.

There has still been no contact with Scott Fortwendel.  Francie will notify Troy Government to request a new appointment.  It was noted that the Perry County history book and Indiana General Assembly links have been made on our site.  Sandy Henning reported that the committee looking into equipment purchases has ruled out leasing due to a required 3-year term.  The committee is currently gathering prices for purchase.   Kathy Gerber reported that John Werner is looking over our papers regarding our tax status.  Mike Elaman has offered to examine all financial records to determine if we will need to re-file.  Joan Goble made a motion to approve examination of records by Mike Elaman, after hearing from John Werner; Mary Ann seconded; motion carried.

Meeting was adjourned.  Next meeting will be March 18, 1999, 7:00 pm, at Tell City Junior High.
