Access Perry County Board Meeting

May 18, 2000 7:00 pm

The meeting was called to order by President Francie Wagner. Members present were:  Francie Wagner, Judy Howe, Randy Fischer, Kathy Pohl, Sandy Henning, Betty Cash, and Joan Goble.  A motion was made by Kathy Pohl, seconded by Sandy Henning, to adopt the agenda and approve the minutes of the April meeting.  Motion carried.

Our April balance was $9,389.89.  Disbursements included the automatic May payment of $150.00 to PSCI and a donation of $500.00 for the Cannelton student trip.  A check for $200.00 for March was received from the Perry County News.  There is one current claim of $44.00 for post office box rent, due immediately. The May balance is $8,739.89.

This is our annual May meeting.  Those with terms expiring are: Joan Goble, Cannelton Schools; Steve Bennett, Cannelton Government; Mary Ann Wheatley, Perry County Business. Reappointments will be requested from Cannelton Schools and Perry County Business, and a new appointee will be requested from Cannelton Government. 

Dogwood Festival photos taken by members are now on our website.  We will be adding Business and Teacher of the Year.  We discussed scheduling a camera workshop so that members can learn to FTP photos to PSCI. Members were reminded of the APC Committee meeting with the Chamber on June 8,11:30 a.m., at Hoosier Heights Country Club.  We will discuss jointly maintaining and promoting a Perry County website.

The meeting was adjourned.  Next meeting:  June 15, 7:00 p.m., at Tell City Public Library.
