Access Perry County Board Meeting
May 20, 1999, 7:00 pm
Tell City Junior High

The meeting was called to order by President Francie Wagner.  Members present were:  Francie Wagner, Judy Howe, Ron Filkins, Kathy Gerber, Dick Haywood, Mary Ann Wheatley.  The agenda was adopted, with the addition of By-Law Change to New Business.  Kathy Gerber made a motion to approve the April minutes; Dick Haywood seconded; motion carried.

Dick Haywood reported a treasury balance of $11,601.86.  Claims from April include:  PSCI, $605.00; Perry County News, $100.00.  A motion was made by Kathy Gerber, seconded by Mary Ann Wheatley, to pay these claims; motion carried.  A check for May from the Perry County News has been received.

Establishing our own checking account, in order to make more timely payments, was discussed.  Dick Haywood made a motion to open an account at Old National Bank and remove all funds from the Cannelton Library account; Kathy Gerber seconded.  Motion carried.

Article II, Section 4 of the By-Laws, regarding Voting Rights, was discussed.  Since no dues are assessed to members, Dick Haywood made a motion to delete the phrase referring to non-payment of dues; Kathy Gerber seconded.  Motion carried.

The posting of local primary election results on our website went smoothly.  We do not yet have a report on the number of hits.  We will have two billboards until next May.  "Live from Schweizer Fest" will be the wording on the billboard splash.

Our nonprofit corporation report and fee have been filed with the State. It was noted that information from the State has been going to an old address; therefore, we have not been receiving our mail.  Dick Haywood will check into the status of our former post office box in Cannelton and establish a new one in Tell City.

Updates to our website were discussed.  Members were asked to bring any update information to meetings, and we will use our lap top to look at our site and submit updates.
