MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF

Access Perry County Board Meeting
August 19, 1999, 7:00 pm
Tell City Public Library
The meeting was called to order by President Francie Wagner. Members present: Francie Wagner, Sandy Henning, Kathy Gerber, Randy Fischer, Joan Goble, Judy Howe, and Ron Filkins. A motion was made by Randy Fischer, seconded by Kathy Gerber, to adopt the agenda and approve the minutes of the July meeting. Motion carried.
There was no report on present bank balance due to the absence of Treasurer Dick Haywood. The following August claims were submitted for approval: PSCI monthly bill, $200.00; PSCI billboard half, $195.50; Network Solutions annual domain fee, $35.00; Dick Haywood, reimbursement for camera purchase. A motion was made by Joan Goble, seconded by Randy Fischer, to pay these claims. Motion carried. Options for our checking account at Old National Bank were discussed. It was decided to require two signatures onchecks: Treasurer and President. We will request receipt of cancelled checks with our statement and use of electronic transfer. Randy Fischer will mail a signature card to Francie Wagner and Dick Haywood.
Renewal letters for board members Judy Howe, Dick Haywood, and Sandy Henning have been received. New appointments include Betty Cash, representing Troy government, and Steve Bennett, representing the City of Cannelton. Due to lack of a quorum at our May annual meeting, officers for the coming year were not elected. Randy Fischer made a motion to nominate the following slate of officers: President, Francie Wagner; Vice-President, Kathy Gerber; Secretary, Judy Howe; Treasurer, Dick Haywood. Motion was seconded by Joan Goble. Motion carried.
The calendar format on our website was discussed. The Youth Soccer League has asked to be included. We will study possible formats this month and make a decision next month. Next month's meeting will be held September 16, 5:30 pm, at Mulzer's Camp, prior to the Annual Tourism Dinner.
Meeting was adjourned and members viewed and discussed various options for the calendar.
