Sketching for Beginners
(recommended for ages: 7 through 15)

Artistic talent is not a requirement for enrollment. If you have an interest in learning how to draw, you are welcome to participate. You will be guided through introductory drawing techniques using various mediums. Emphasis will be on encouraging creativity and having fun.

Classes are July 21-31

Cartooning for Beginners
(recommended for ages: 7 through 15)

Just as in sketching, artistic talent is not a requirement for this fun class. Students will explore the many types of comic strips, caricature, and animation. They will create their own cartoon character, learn about exaggerating the features and characteristics of the character, then use the character in a cartoon strip.

Babysitting Survival Skills
(recommended for ages: 10 through 14)

If you take you babysitting responsibilities seriously, enroll in this informative training course. You'll learn basic first aid, how to respond to emergencies, feeding and diapering techniques, positive discipline and suggestion for age-appropriate games.
